This photoshoot was so much fun to do.  Tilly and her mom (and grandma) are so cute!  I had fun playing dress up with Tilly and changing the set in between shoots.

In this picture you can tell Tilly was looking at her Momma.

Dainty little fingers.

So peaceful!

I didn't know taking pictures in a field of bluebonnets was a Texas thing.  Heck, I didn't even know it was a thing at all.

Last week at playgroup Hannah asked the group: "So when are y'all going to take your bluebonnet pictures?"  Everyone then promptly replied with their plans on when and where they were going to take their "Bluebonnet" pictures.

I had no idea what she was talking about.

"Google it." was her response.  "Bluebell pictures in Texas, its a thing."

Thanks goodness for friends that keep me in the loop.

In the last week my social media has been exploding with Bluebell pictures.

I know know what she is talking about.

I sure love living in Texas.

Penelope and I needed to get out of the house.  So we grabbed her dolly, the stroller and the camera and set off on an adventure!

Easy Sunday last year was technically Penelope's due date.  What a special surprise to bring her home from the hospital a day before her due date and enjoy her.

I love to photograph Penelope, that's not secret.  But what I really love is when I can photograph her and the latest project i've been working on.  When my sister was in town in October, Andrew, Genevieve and I made these blocks from scratch, old school style.  Check out Elephant & Chick for the DIY tutorial.
